Recovery

Jay had his first surgery today. Tonsils and adenoids out, and ear tubes in. He was so brave! I am amazed at how well he is doing. We've been warned that we aren't out of the woods yet, as far as tough pain is concerned. Generally it is expected that day 3 or 4 could be the worst. So, we are trying to keep him down, even while he feels pretty good.

He loves his new doggy, "Barkers", a gift from the nurse today. :)

So glad it is going well so far!! Hopefully he'll defy what they say about day 3 and 4. The only problem we had was Carter didn't want to take the medicine anymore about that time and I was afraid....it all turned out and you will too.

Although I know nothing about it, I love the way the light looks in this picture. :)

Sweet boy. Hope he is feeling like his normal self by now. Alexandra goes in for the same surgery (minus tonsils) on Aug 2.
